Born 1967 in Innsbruck; founded SORA in 1996 together with Günther Ogris

Studied German Language and Literature, Journalism and Psychology, postgraduate studies in sociology at the IHS (Institute for Higher Studies) in Vienna; since 1989 professional experience in empirical social research; worked as a strategic advisor in numerous successful campaigns; regularly calculates and presents election night forecasts in Austrian TV and has published more than 50 articles and book contributions on elections and political campaigning; President of the European Association of Political Consultants (EAPC) in the period 2008-2010, currently European Secretary of the International Association of Political Consultants (IAPC).

TEACHING:

• classes on empirical election and social research at the Universities of Innsbruck and Vienna (1999-2006), seminars on presentation skills in the framework of SOQUA (since 2007).
